Thank you for visiting the Sport Taekwondo Plymouth website. Sport Taekwondo Plymouth (STP), was formed in February 2011 to address the need for a club that caters for both competing and non competing practitioners. We are registered with the UKs national governing body for WTF Taekwondo, British Taekwondo. Our aim is to provide access for everyone, whatever their age, gender, ethnic origin or ability, to the popular and growing martial art of WTF Taekwondo. For the more serious student, we shall provide the coaching for, and access to, competitions in both the traditional form, poomsae (patterns), and the modern form, kyorugi (Olympic style sparring).

Latest News

Devon Community Foundation Funding. Sport Taekwondo Plymouth has secured funding from the Devon Community Foundation Sport Relief 2012 fund. More than 35 community based groups and sports clubs in the Plymouth area have been awarded a slice of the £35,000 pay out. We have received a generous award of £668, which shall be used to purchase protective equipment and training aids. This will enable new members and those who are unable to afford the equipment, to fully participate in our sport, and encourage new members to our club.
